"When the life’s love is attacked the life’s warmth takes fire, makes a stand, and breaks out against the assailant.... in order that (their love) may not be extinguished and with it all enthusiasm, ebullience, and sensibility to delight from its love." (CL 359) In this presentation we will explore the following questions: 1) What do people currently think jealousness is? 2) How is jealousness presented in the Word? 3) Is the Lord truly jealous? 4) What is the psychology behind jealous emotions and actions? 5) How can we keep our own jealousness as a helpful and positive tool in our marriages? The presentation will be a combination of lecture and group discussion, followed by Q&A. Alan is a second year student at the Bryn Athyn theological school. He is married to Susan.
